Last week, photographer Silas Crews invited me to participate in a photojournalism blog carnival.
According to Crews, a blog carnival is "...a collection of blog entry links submitted to an organizer and then published at a specific time. They're often dedicated to a theme such as 'traveling Europe on a shoe string' or '20somthings personal finance'. In this case, I've made the theme 'personal blogs of photojournalists.' "
Crews gathered posts from a handful of photojournalists together on his blog, Random Shutterings and published the first "Carnival of Photojournalism" today.
Check it out! Send it around. It's pretty cool.
